Growing, learning, encouraging and strengthening.

Through meeting together, Bible study, prayer, and special events, the Women of Calvary help each other grow in God’s grace; learn from God’s Word how to live Christ-focused lives; encourage and strengthen one another to make God's truth known in our lives, homes, and communities.

His glory.

We all have busy schedules, busy seasons, busy lives. Let's turn our eyes to Jesus. May we be busy in the good works in which the Lord has specially created us to do for His great glory.

Bible Studies & Support Groups

Bible Study

Hosea, An Unlikely Marriage

9:30-11:30 am

“Who are you when no one’s looking?” When her people were threatened, Esther had to ask herself that question. She could risk her life to try to save her fellow Israelites. Or she could “keep her head down” to wait out the threat in obscurity and safety. In nine sessions, this study will lead you to examine the story of Esther. Esther possessed many qualities that are important for all of us as we “live on mission”. You’ll discover how godly character often develops under pressure. And you’ll discover ideas for living a godly life in the midst of contemporary pressures. Contact Mary Ellen Holverson, 320-251-6785.Book cost, $6.

Hope & Healing for Hurting Women

"My husband is involved in sexual sin." When you discover your husband's sexual betrayal, whether it involves affairs, pornography, prostitutes, lust, or any other sexual sin, the pain is nearly unbearable. Don't let shame, fear or insecurity keep you from reaching out for help.
You've been deeply hurt and need other women to express your pain to; women who can provide support and comfort, and pray with you.

This support group has been in existence since 2006. It is based on scripture that promises God is present, and healing is offered. It is strictly confidential. It is an amazing place to feel supported and loved.
