Sunday Classes (Sept. -May)

Sunday School is a key component of Calvary's ministry to children. The consistency of teachers from week to week allows for deeper relationships to develop between between tachers and students.

We use unique and life-changing curriculum during the Sunday School hour that is written in a way that God is always the main character. The question is what do we learn about God from each biblical story, promise or instruction. We encourage parents to make use of their child's Sunday School take-home pages to guide discussion to further apply the lesson each week.

  • Here is what's available for your child:
2 & 3 Year Olds (Room 211):

Children discover God's truths in a hands on way that is fun, playful and packed with learning.

4 Year Olds-Kindgergarten (Room 210):

The Jesus Storybook Bible Curriculum invites children to join in the greatest of all adventures, to discover for themselves that Jesus is at the center of God's great story of salvation...and at the center of their story, too.

1st and 2nd Grade (Room 414):

Jesus What A Savior
We were created to enjoy the glory of God. But as sinners we fail to treasure Him as we should. Our hearts are full of sin and we stand in need of a Savior. This chronological study on redemption explores the incomparable greatness and worth of God, the desperate condition of helpless sinners and the all-sufficient work of Jesus Christ to redeem sinful people.

3rd and 4th Grade (Room 410):

Faithful To All His Promises
God's promises are gifts to the believer. The challenge of the Christian life is not to simply know the promises of God, but to place unshakable confidence in them. This study teaches children that God's characgter is trustworthy; therefore, His promises are true and reliable.

5th and 6th Grade (Warehouse-portable classroom across the parking lot from playground)

How Majestic Is Your Name
God is not an idle God. He is continually involved with all created things, directing them to accomplish His eternal purposes. This study teaches children to recongnize God's providence in their lives and to joyfully trust His good purposes for them.
