M.O.M.S. (Making Our Mothering Significant)

MOMSagain - Marilyn,Dawn,Amy

M.O.M.S. (Making Our Mothering Significant) meets the first four Tuesdays of the month from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Moms with children of all ages attend our weekly meetings.

The first Tuesday of the month is a playgroup where our children play together while we socialize. The second and fourth Tuesday of the month is a Bible/book study where we meet with a small group for discussion and fellowship. The third Tuesday of each month is a program meeting featuring speakers that address a variety of issues important to moms.

These meetings support our goals to be a spiritual resource, grow friendships, gain mothering skills and provide encouragement in our roles as moms and in our walks with Christ.

Childcare is available for our younger children and infants during our program and study mornings. Childcare is provided by a wonderful and faithful group of volunteers from our church and by some great college students. We provide loving and quality care for the children so that moms are able to take a break, connect with other moms, and grow spiritually.

Our M.O.M.S. group coordinates with the school year. Our schedule will start up again on September 16. We hope you'll plan now to join us.

Weekly Memory Passage: Proverbs 3:5-7 (ESV)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
