Connection Groups
Connection groups provide a community where people help one another grow in the Lord through the study of the Bible, care for each other, develop and strengthen friendships, share concerns and pray together, and reach out to make an impact on the world. These small groups typically meet in homes and meet at various times during the week.

We offer Adult Education classes on Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Basic. Fear God

To understand the relationship between God and man, we turn to those who have directly interacted with Him in the Bible. In each case, they are met with fear. Not respect, reverence or courage, but sheer speechlessness, humility, and complete surrender. They are overcome with pure fear and many of them cry out to be destroyed. Most people today have lost this fear. We must understand that a true fear of God leads to the keeping of His commandments, leads to life, and is the beginning of wisdom. Other Opportunities for Prayer, Study and Serving
Corporate Prayer Times
"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." Colossians 4:2
We believe prayer is a vital ministry. A time of corporate prayer is offered on Sunday's from 8:30-8:50 a.m. in the Conference Room and Wednesdays at 7:00-8:00 a.m., in rooms 200 & 405.
1st Wednesday Fast and Prayer
The first Wednesday of each month, 12:15 to 1:00 p.m., in the Multi-purpose Room. Fast during the day, then join us for a time of worship and prayer. Plan to fast through lunch on the 1st Wednesday and spend your lunch time in worship and prayer with others. If your lunch hour prevents you from staying through to the end, come anyway and leave when you need to. We will break a little before 1:00 p.m.
Even if you can't fast during the day we would love to have you attend the time of prayer and worship.
Verse-By-Verse Bible Study
This women's study meets the first and third Thursday each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. The study meets September through May.
Calvary Quilters
This group provides handmade quilts to young mothers in need. Quilters meet from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Thursday each month, September through May. Come for the whole day and bring a lunch or come for as much time as your schedule allows.
Caring Closet
The Caring Closet at Calvary is well stocked with non-perishable food, household, and personal items. This ministry serves to help those within our church as well as an opportunity to reach out to those in our community. The closet is open Sunday mornings and available during the week by inquiring in the Church Office. Donations are accepted anytime.
