Adult Sunday Classes
Purpose and Overview
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith." Hebrews 12:1-2
Sunday Classes at Calvary Community Church are here to train you and help you grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ who wants to run the race and finish well. We have implemented the use of a proven curriculum provided by a like-minded fellowship, Capital Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
The whole team is very excited about what God will do through his Word, this curriculum, the teachers who are working hard to equip you, and your grace-driven efforts to follow Jesus. Three core tracks are offered to choose from: Bible Overview, Christian Life, and Christian Growth.

All classes meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and/or the Multi-purpose Room.

Most of the classes will have handouts available for you each week, as well as reference useful Christian books during the class. If you’d like one of the books ordered for you, please contact the church office, and we would be happy to do so to supplement your learning.
