Adult Sunday Classes
Purpose and Overview (See Class Descriptions below)
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith." Hebrews 12:1-2
Sunday Classes at Calvary Community Church are here to train you and help you grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ who wants to run the race and finish well. We have implemented the use of a proven curriculum provided by a like-minded fellowship, Capital Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
The whole team is very excited about what God will do through his Word, this curriculum, the teachers who are working hard to equip you, and your grace-driven efforts to follow Jesus. Three core tracks are offered to choose from: Bible Overview, Christian Life, and Christian Growth.
When and Where
All classes meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and/or the Multi-purpose Room.
Reading and Materials
Most of the classes will have handouts available for you each week, as well as reference useful Christian books during the class. If you’d like one of the books ordered for you, please contact the church office, and we would be happy to do so to supplement your learning.

Are you just out of college, just married, or a young family that needs guidance in how to prepare a budget and plan for the future? Are you aware of how daily finances impact our relationship with God?
If so, join us as we explore these issues through the lens of the Gospel.
We’ll learn how to:

- Invest for the future
Most importantly, we’ll rejoice that when we leave this life and all it’s earthly goods behind, we will have invested in a treasure that never ends. Teacher: Aaron Borlaug.
Childcare will be provided - please RSVP on The City if you need childcare.
(June 8-August 17)
In opposition to churchmen who argued that man is made righteous by faith and works, the Protestant Reformers fearlessly preached that by faith alone God’s people are justified.
In this 10-week series, Dr. R.C. Sproul examines the biblical doctrine of redemption as summarized in the five solas of the Reformation, propositions that remind us God alone deserves the glory for our salvation.
Teacher: Dave Lahren
Topics are devoted to:
- Faith Alone
- Grace Alone
- Christ Alone
- Scripture Alone, and
- Glory to God Alone
